Sync SAP Cloud ALM with Jira issues, bidirectionally

Connect SAP Cloud ALM and Jira with the C³ Suite: alerts, tasks and features stay in sync bidirectionally. Forge app, no ABAP add-on, 30-day proof of concept.

SAP Cloud ALM stays the system of record. Your teams keep working in Jira.

The problem: the scope sits in one system, the work happens in another

You are making SAP Cloud ALM the system of record for SAP application lifecycle management. Your delivery and operations teams plan and work in Jira. SAP Cloud ALM ships without a Jira integration, so somebody closes that gap by hand, every day.

The cost is not only the typing. Once a task, a feature or an alert is kept in two places, the two versions drift apart, and at the next status meeting nobody can say which one counted.

Every change maintained twice

Alerts never reach the ticket system

Handovers by email and spreadsheet

No status from requirement to deployment

Our answer: the C³ Suite for SAP Cloud ALM

The C³ Suite extends Jira with SAP Cloud ALM. Your teams keep planning and working in Jira while SAP Cloud ALM remains the system of record for scope, lifecycle and operations.

Each of the three connectors covers one area of Cloud ALM, and you license and configure each one on its own. There is no need to take all three.

C³O — Operations

Alerts from job, health and exception monitoring arrive as Jira issues in the right project. Close the issue in Jira and C³O reports the closure back to Cloud ALM.

C³B — Build

Cloud ALM tasks and Jira issues stay in sync bidirectionally, including assignee and status. A deep link takes you from the issue straight into the Cloud ALM project.

C³F — Features

Cloud ALM features and Jira issues stay in sync bidirectionally. Scope, lifecycle and deployment status remain visible on both sides.

How it is built

SAP Cloud ALM is SaaS. There is no ABAP add-on to install and no SAP backend to run.

The apps talk to the public SAP Cloud ALM REST APIs and authenticate with OAuth 2.0 client credentials. Changes made in Cloud ALM arrive as a webhook at each Forge app's web trigger. You import no transport and you operate no SAP backend.

What you get out of it

A route to SAP Cloud ALM that does not ask you to give up your Jira processes. As certified SAP and Atlassian partners we build the Cross Connectors ourselves and stay with you from evaluation through to operations.

Starting in three steps

Talk it through

We look at your system landscape, which Cloud ALM areas you use and where your teams work today.

Run a pilot

Start on the free 30-day licence with technical support, on one project and one issue type.

Review the result

We go through what the pilot delivered and decide together whether it earns a rollout.
