Atlassian Trainings
Official Atlassian training for Jira, Confluence and Rovo. Live courses with certified trainers, in English or German.
A tool nobody understands gets worked around.
Everything at a glance
A Jira licence arrives on Monday. What people do with it on Tuesday decides whether the tool helps or gets worked around, and that part rarely comes with the purchase.
Cross ALM is an Atlassian Authorized Training Partner. Courses run live with an instructor, online or at your site, in groups of three to twelve. Live matters: the questions people ask halfway through are the reason the material sticks, and a recording cannot answer them. Our courses are for companies (B2B). Prices are per person and net of VAT.
What you get
Official Atlassian course material, reviewed and current. Certified trainers with project experience in enterprise setups. A certificate of attendance on request.
Format and teaching
Live and instructor-led, online or at your site, with no recordings. Questions are welcome at any point. Short inputs, live demos, exercises, and time for your own cases.
Who it is for
People who have just been given a login, teams moving to the cloud, administrators taking over a landscape, and anyone preparing for certification.
Scope and what is included
Every course runs against official Atlassian material rather than slides we assembled ourselves. The trainer works from project practice, and the session leaves room for the questions your people actually have.
If you have no instance of your own to work in, we provide a training environment.
- A live trainer, working from tested methods and practice
- Short inputs and live demos, the show-then-do sequence
- Official Atlassian course material as the basis
- A training environment where you have no instance of your own
- Time for your questions inside the session
- Three to twelve participants per group
- English by default, German on request
- A certificate of attendance on request
Technical requirements
Nothing unusual, but worth checking before the date is set. A session where half the group cannot reach the instance is a session spent on support.
- A computer with a stable internet connection, a microphone, and optionally a webcam
- A second screen is recommended, so you can follow and work at once
- Access to the relevant Atlassian instance, or the training environment we provide
The courses
Eight courses, from a one-hour introduction at 125 EUR to a full day at 950 EUR.
The one-hour sessions assume nothing and are meant for people who have just been given a login. The onboarding courses run most of a day and are for the people who will work in the tool every day. Two courses go further: planning across teams, and preparation for the certification exam.
Jira
Get Started with Jira, Onboard to Jira Cloud, Plans in Jira and Jira Essentials as exam preparation.
Confluence
Get Started with Confluence for the first hour, and Onboard to Confluence Cloud for the people who write in it daily.
Rovo
Get Started with Rovo and Onboard to Rovo, for teams putting Atlassian search and agents to work.
Frequently asked questions
Is this a lecture? No. Sessions are interactive, with live demos, exercises and time for questions.
Do I get a recording? No, the courses are live. On request we provide material and a practice environment instead.
Is there a certificate? Yes, a certificate of attendance on request.
Which video tools do you support? We recommend Zoom or Google Meet. On request we work in the tool you already use.
What should I know beforehand? For the advanced courses, a working knowledge of Jira or the Jira Essentials course. The one-hour sessions assume nothing.
A version cut to your team
A demo instance shows the tool working. It does not show the twelve mandatory fields your Jira project asks for, or the workflow that stalls every second week. Those are the moments where people give up and open a spreadsheet instead.
So team bookings run against the setup you actually work in. Where the setup itself is the problem, that shows up in the session, and we say so.
- An agenda cut to your own use cases
- Delivery in your tool stack and your test environment
- Extended questions on governance, scaling and security
Trained on your own environment
A demo instance will not show you where your people get stuck. We train against the setup you actually work in.
Cross ALM as a training partner
Cross ALM is an IT and process consultancy based in Berlin. We are an Atlassian Authorized Training Partner and Gold Solution Partner, and were named Atlassian Partner of the Year Rising Star EMEA in 2023: Cross ALM Receives Atlassian Partner of the Year 2022 Award.
Our trainers come out of project work rather than out of a training department. Several are ITIL certified, which shows in the service management courses: IT Service Management in times of Digitization.
Official material
Authorized Training Partner means the course content comes from Atlassian, reviewed and kept current rather than assembled by us.
Project experience
The people who teach also run Atlassian projects in enterprise setups, and answer questions that go past the slide.
One contract
Licences, setup and training run through the same contact: Atlassian Reseller.
From customer projects
Training rarely stands on its own. Where it followed a rollout, the projects are written up: Success Story Bürkert covers ITSM and enterprise service management for around 4,000 users, and ITSM with Jira Cloud describes the setup people then have to work in.
